Terms and Conditions

Workshop Terms & Conditions

Bookings and Payment

Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place in a workshop.

Bookings are confirmed once payment has been received. Workshop places are limited and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Due to the preparation of materials and limited workshop places, refunds are not available for cancellations made by participants.

Workshop Cancellation by the Organiser

We reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule a workshop due to insufficient bookings, illness, extreme weather, venue issues, or other unforeseen circumstances.

If a workshop is cancelled by us, participants will be offered either:

  • A full refund, or
  • A transfer to a future workshop.

We are not responsible for any travel, accommodation, or other expenses incurred by participants in relation to a cancelled workshop.

Attendance

Participants are responsible for arriving on time. Late arrival may result in missing important instructions, and no refund or partial refund will be provided.

Health and Safety

Participants agree to follow all safety instructions provided during workshops.

Many workshops involve the use of sharp tools, hot water, needles, scissors, natural fibres, dyes, candles, or other craft materials. Participants attend at their own risk and are responsible for using tools and materials safely.

Please advise us before the workshop if you have any allergies, medical conditions, injuries, or accessibility requirements that may affect your participation.

Children and Family Workshops

For workshops involving children, a parent or guardian must remain responsible for their child throughout the duration of the workshop unless otherwise stated.

Photography

Photographs may be taken during workshops for promotional purposes, including use on our website, social media, and marketing materials.

If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify us prior to the workshop.

Materials and Finished Projects

Workshop fees include the materials specified in the workshop description.

As handmade processes vary, we cannot guarantee specific results or finished outcomes.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no responsibility for loss, damage, injury, or expense incurred as a result of participation in a workshop, except where liability cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
